1. The Bluetooth product has bundled software and undated software crashed with the notebook's embedded Bluetooth drivers. Restoring from previous Restore Points, uninstalling installed software, and erasing Bluetooth drivers in certain sequence eventually brought the Enumerator back but still a few unknown periperral drivers under Device Manager.
2. I opened the device manager and saw three bluetooth devices: Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator, Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator, and Realtek Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter. Tried update driver on all 3, and it updated the driver for Realtek Bluetooth Adapter, but that didn't really make a difference.
